David Bowie concert posters. A Prince portrait plate. A Philip Guston. A parquetry cabinet. An antique mortar table. How to make a home that honored a life of serious looking without becoming a warehouse.

We began with architecture. The teal front doors, ornate, painted, unapologetic, signaled what was happening inside before the threshold was crossed. The foyer wallpaper set the register: bold, graphic, mylar, and theatrical. The living room anchored by back-to-back velvet sofas. The rotating art collection, a Christopher Wool print one week, a figurative painting the next, introduced constant change. The kitchen became the most personal room in the house, tiled in a deco mosaic, fitted with French blue cabinetry, and layered with concert memorabilia.

The result is a home that trusts its owners. It does not explain itself. It simply is what it is. Completely original.
